Burg Monschau

Monschau, Deutschland

Burg Monschau a place for people to stay for a pension because it's so relaxing to be here. The humidity, the people, the food are the best. Burg Monschau itself is an abandoned castle; well, I don't know who is ruling the castle was, but I think it's the german empire. We took about 5-6 hours from Hannover because of Monschau located on Germany's border with Belgium. There's a lot to do here; I wish I had more time there.

Tiger und Turtle

Duisburg, Deutschland

This time I only go alone. I started my trip on December 25. My Gf accompanied me to the airport. Then at 11:00 am my plane was board, and then we are takeoff. The trip from Jakarta to Frankfurt takes about 15 hours, with transit in Dubai for about 2-3 hours. After a long trip with a plane. Finally, I arrive in Frankfurt. My sister's picked me up at the airport, and after that, we get around the city of Frankfurt. My sister lives in Hannover, so we take another trip with ICE or fast trains; that trip takes about 5-6 hours from Frankfurt Haubtbahnhof to Hannover Haubtbahnhof. We arrived at Hannover Hbf at night, so we are so tired and sleepy. The next day we are not going anywhere because I want to enjoy the city from my sister's apartment. The next day I go to Eurocar to rental a car for these trips. I choose a Volkswagen GT, a compact car, but still can accommodate 5 people there because there's my sister's Bf and two friends. I don't want to go to mainstream places on this trip, so I go to rare places. So we take about 3 hours driving to Duisburg in Dortmund to go to this Tiger und Turtle. This place is a monument for people living around this district. From the photo, it's like a roller coaster, but it isn't. It's a path or stairs or something like that; we can go to the top of those just with our feet. We spend one and a half hours there. After that, we are going back to my sister's place.

Matterhorn

Zermatt, Switzerland

My first snoww hahaha, it's cold and wet. Ofc, it is condensate water, after all. But it's fun. I've played snowballs with my brother and make angels on the snow. The main attraction here is the mount of Matterhorn, a ski and sightseeing place. The trip starts at a station where that is the only place to go up to the mountain. We are board to a special tram that can go up to those mountains. After passing some village, we are leaving the tram at Tasch station. Tasch is a village one station before the last village from the top. We stayed at Tascherhöf hotel. The hotel is so wonderful. I love the views. The next day, we are going to the last village to go to the top of the Matterhorn. We are using a cable car from the last village that carries us to the top of the mountains. If I said the hotel's views are so beautiful, then when you reach the top, the view is ten thousand more than from the hotel. Also, there is an ice museum at the top of the Matterhorn. I tried skiing, but it's hurt, and so cold outside the building (ofc the temperature were under zero Celcius). It's fun, and I want to go back there if I were asked to.

Amalienborg Palace

Copenhagen, Denmark

Well, this was a place that I've been so pleased because it's a place for Denmark royal families. There are guards everywhere, like the Queen Palace in London (Sorry I forgot the name). Denmark is a lovely place for me. The food, the people, the environment, and everything even there's an Amusement Park in Copenhagen's heart. Ofc, there's something that makes me feels terrible about living in Denmark. That's the public park price, man at that time; I was driving from my sister's place Hannover, Germany. I arrived at the hotel near the city center, but unfortunately, they don't have some parking space, so they suggest that I park the car on the side road. I left my car for about three and a half hours, and the price is near 300-400K IDR. I was shocked. But after all, I still love the city.

Old City

Jakarta, Indonesia

That's the first time I touch my feet on Jakarta alone. At 09:45 am, my plane landed on Soekarno Hatta International Airport after two and half hour journey from my town, Balikpapan. At that time, no one pickup me at the airport. I only have one place to go to. That's my best friend's place at Bintaro. The next day, we are traveling to Old City or Kota Tua. The place where the environment is like colonial times where the dutch was invading Indonesia. I think I was lucky because there's a show (I believe from the Japanese Embassy) when I'm going in there. After all, the theme is Japan. The night we are walked around the block, and I took that Batavia Cafe sign.
